Co-UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL OF POLITICAL AFFAIRS

JOSHUA BUTLER
Josh Butler is a junior at Boston College studying Finance with a minor in International Studies. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he has been active in Model United Nations since his freshman year of high school. Throughout the years, he has served as a committee chair over ten times and as Deputy Secretary-General of his high school conference. Josh has also attended almost two dozen conferences as a delegate, many on the collegiate circuit, and several international conferences in The Hague and London. He began his EagleMUNC journey as Chair of COP29, later serving as Deputy of Political Affairs, and now holds the role of Under-Secretary-General of Political Affairs for EagleMUNC XIV. Outside of Model UN, Josh is the Vice President of Boston College’s Out for Business club and a member of the Boston College Consulting Association. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching baseball, and spending time with friends.

Co-UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL OF POLITICAL AFFAIRS

ANDREW DUFF
Andrew Duff is a junior at Boston College concentrating in Finance with a minor in Philosophy. Originally from Chicago, Andrew developed his interest in leadership and Model UN by competing in MUN conferences throughout all four years of high school. In his senior year of high school, he served as the Director General for his high school and helped organize the largest one day conference in the nation. As an undergraduate student, he has served as the Chair of Vietnamese Independence at EagleMUNC XII and as Director of Team 4 at EagleMUNC XIII. In his free time, he enjoys following every Chicago sports team, playing tennis, discovering new music, and cooking. He is super excited to help make EagleMUNC XIV the best yet!​

Deputy of POLITICAL AFFAIRS

MARY HARTNETT
Mary Hartnett (she/her) is a senior at Boston College majoring in History with a minor in Irish Studies. Mary has been involved in Model UN and EagleMUNC for the last four years, first serving as a Sim Staffer at EagleMUNC XI, the FIA Co-Chair at EagleMUNC XII, and the Chair of The Sons of Liberty at EagleMUNC XIII. Mary will serve as the Secretary of Programming for the Boston College Model UN Team this upcoming academic year, after having been a dedicated member of the team throughout her time at the university. At EagleMUNC XIV, Mary will be serving as the Joint Deputy of Political Affairs, helping run the administrative side of the Political Affairs Department alongside Josh, Andrew, and Lukas. In her free time, Mary loves to do yoga, go on walks, and read Irish history books. She is most looking forward to assisting both the creation and execution ​of multiple committees!

LUKAS KUCERA
Lukas Kucera is a sophomore at Boston College pursuing a double major in International Studies and Slavic Studies. He has been involved in Model UN for the last six years and was the Chair of the Nixon Committee in the joint crisis committee at last year’s conference. At EagleMUNC XIV, he will be a Joint Deputy of Political Affairs. Besides Model UN, Lukas is a member of WZBC radio, NROTC, and a Junior Fellow at the Clough Center. He enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and learning languages. At this year’s conference he is looking forward to developing friendly relationships with all of the committee staff to best serve them in making this year’s conference the best one yet.

TEAM 1 CO-DIRECTOR

TOM DOHONEY
Tom Dohoney (he/him) is a junior at Boston College studying International Studies with minors in Accounting, Computer Science, and German. He began his EagleMUNC journey at EagleMUNC XII as a Co-Chair for the MBTA Board of Directors working with Amelia, the DSG, and he had the pleasure of serving as the Director of Team 1 at EagleMUNC XIII. Outside of Model UN, Tom enjoys backpacking, biking, and reading old books. While Tom will be sadly abroad in the spring, (we will miss him desperately!), he looks forward to hearing about the creative solutions delegates come up with at the conference, and working tirelessly in the fall to help create the best EagleMUNC there can be!

TEAM 1 CO-DIRECTOR

MEGAN KASSAB
Megan Kassab (she/her) is a junior at Boston College from Boston, Massachusetts currently studying Applied Physics with a minor in International Studies. She began at EagleMUNC XII serving as a Sim Staffer for the MBTA Board of Directors and then served as a Chair for the Mongol Imperial Council at EagleMUNC XIII. Outside of Model UN, Megan enjoys baking, reading, and playing the guitar and trombone. This year, Megan will serve as one of Team 1's Co-Directors, alongside Tom, overseeing The Gods of Egypt and the Ad-Hoc Committee.​ She is absolutely bummed to be away from the Background Guide creation process, as she will be studying abroad, but could not be more excited to get to execute the hard work of Team 1 at the conference in March! Be prepared to see Megan running around in crazy wigs and [REDACTED]. Oops...not all can be revealed yet...

TEAM 2 DIRECTOR

JACK GREENAWALT
Jack Greenawalt (he/him) is a junior at Boston College studying Economics and Finance. He currently serves as a Director for EagleMUNC XIV, following two years of experience as a committee Chair. This year, he is directing The Algerian Revolution and The Grand Pursuit, two committees designed to challenge delegates with fast-paced, high-stakes decision-making grounded in political and strategic complexity. Outside of EagleMUNC, Jack is involved in the Economics Association, Investment Club, Sales and Trading Club, and the Ignatian Society. In his free time he enjoys playing music, and spending time with friends. Jack is committed to delivering engaging, intellectually rigorous committee experiences, that reflect both his academic interests and passion for international affairs.

TEAM 3 DIRECTOR

CAROLINE ADLE​
Caroline Adle (she/her) is a sophomore at Boston College currently pursuing a double major in Political Science and History. She has been involved in Model UN for the past six years. At EagleMUNC XIII, Caroline served as a Sim Staffer for the JCC: The Election of 1960 committee. This year, Caroline will serve as the Team 3 Director, overseeing the UNSC Katanga Committee and The United Arab Republic Crisis. Outside of EagleMUNC, Caroline is a member of the Boston College Plant Club, the History Club, and a General Coordinator for the Environmental & Sustainability Division of UGBC, while also writing for the Gavel as an Associate Editor. Caroline is booked and ready to take on this year, creating the best EagleMUNC yet!

TEAM 4 DIRECTOR

JAEWON YEO
​​Jaewon Yeo (she/her), originally from Somers, NY, is a senior at Boston College pursuing a double major in Global Public Health and the Common Good and Biology. She began her Model UN career her sophomore year of college after taking Global Public Health Law. Since, she has participated in collegiate Model UN conferences and, in the spring of 2025, served as an Education Intern at the United Nations Association of Greater Boston. Additionally, Jaewon served as a Simulations Staffer at EXII and EXIII. Outside of Model UN, Jaewon is the advocacy leader for Boston College's chapter of Partners in Health Engage, and is an undergraduate research fellow within the Connell School of Nursing. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. At EXIV, Jaewon is the Director for Team 4, overseeing INTERPOL, No Mo Money, and the Second United Front, China 1936-1945.

TEAM 5 DIRECTOR

QUYNH ANH LE
Quynh Anh Le (she/they) is a sophomore at Boston College currently pursuing a double major in Applied Psychology & Human Development and Biology. She has been involved in Model UN for the past year, her freshman year of college. At EagleMUNC XIII, Quynh Anh served as the Co-Chair on Team 5 for The Sons of Liberty. This year, Quynh Anh will serve as the Team 5 Director (yay!), ​overseeing No Sleep Till Salem and the Hawaii Unification. Outside of EagleMUNC, Quynh Anh is an editor and organizer for the magazine Stylus, and works for the Student Board of Conduct. In her free time, Quynh Anh enjoys going to the gym, nightly reading, and trying new restaurants with friends. The thing she looks forward to the most at this conference is working with the Chairs, Co-chairs, and Sim Staffers to build different crisis responses and scenarios.

TEAM 6 DIRECTOR

MUKUND RACHAKONDA
Mukund Rachakonda (he/him) is a junior at Boston College studying Economics with minors in Mathematics and Finance. He has been involved at EagleMUNC for two years, serving as a Co-Chair for the UNCHR at EagleMUNC XII, and a Chair for the Congress of Vienna at EagleMUNC XIII. This year, he will be overseeing the Meiji Restoration, the 2008 Financial Crisis, and the Gupta Empire. Outside of school, Mukund enjoys watching movies, playing the guitar, and both playing, and watching soccer. He's looking forward to working alongside the other Directors, Chairs, and Co-Chairs to create the best possible conference for all the delegates!

TEAM 7 DIRECTOR

 NATALIE BRUCKERT
​Natalie Bruckert is a senior at Boston College pursuing a double major in Political Science and Communications. Throughout her time at Boston College, Natalie has been involved in two EagleMUNC conferences, serving as the Chair for the Organization of the African Union, at EagleMUNC XI, and the Chair for UNICEF, at EagleMUNC XII. This year, Natalie will be overseeing the Greater London Council, MLB Collective Bargaining Agreement 2026, and the Death of Stalin. Outside of MUN, Natalie is the Vice President of the Boston College Democrats, serves with the non-profit Rebuilding Together Boston, and avidly enjoys exploring new cities and trying local coffee shops.
