Overview

Emperor Meiji has been granted dominion over Japan after the resignation of Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu. The former leader, however, seems to have grievances against some of the politics in the new Emperor's court. Yoshinobu has decided to send these grievances in the form of a 15,000 strong force towards the capital city of Kyoto. It's your role as the imperial court to the new Meiji Emperor to ensure that the reign of the new Emperor is secured and that the conflict does not escalate into conflicts throughout Japan. Its also your role as the Imperial court to tie in and ease tensions between different factions and classes across Japanese society to ensure that the might of Japan flourishes under the reign of Emperor Meiji.
